Internationally acclaimed designer John Rocha has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years. In 1994 he was awarded with the prestigious title of British Designer of the Year.
Since then has received widespread international recognition, and has constantly sought to expand his work into other creative fields.
This desire for creative expansion lead John Rocha to global giant Waterford Crystal, largest and most prestigious designers and manufactures of crystal stemware & gifts in the world.
The subsequent bond between Waterford Crystal and John Rocha has lead to one of the most exciting relationships that the world of crystal and glass has seen. Developing a reputation for, excellence and beautiful design has meant that many of our customers now regard John Rocha at Waterford Crystal as simply the best in the world.
John Rocha spent nearly two years at Waterford Crystal, learning to work with glass. In 1997, the John Rocha at Waterford Crystal collection was successfully launched marking his first work in another medium. The range has subsequently achieved worldwide acclaim, and continues to expand and develop.
October 2004 saw the launch of ‘Black Cut' a dramatic new collection of opulent Black and Clear Cut stem and gift ware. The result is a collection that is more in tune with today's lifestyles than more heavily-cut patterns. Like all Waterford creations, they will endure for generations to come.
John Rocha continues to expand and develop his portfolio of work with Waterford Crystal exploring new areas of creativity and design.

"Whatever material you work in, be it fabric or crystal, the shape of what you create is defined by light and shadow. With Waterford, you not only work with the purest crystal, you also work with light. This for me has been one of the most exciting aspects of my collaboration with Waterford's craftsmen." - JOHN ROCHA
