Villeroy & Boch's ranges are instrumental in shaping international trends in the field of tableware. They create high-quality yet affordable products with real design appeal.

Credibility, quality, image, competence, elegance, harmony, design and lifestyle are the defining characteristics of the Villeroy & Boch brand. The modernness of their highly traditional brand is based on innovative achievements in the areas of technology and design.
The History of Villeroy & Boch
It was the inventive genius of the royal foundry man François Boch which provided the starting signal for the democratisation of tableware and the unprecedented rise of the Villeroy & Boch company back in 1748. Their design has always been inspired by "cosmopolitan taste", interpreted by renowned artists and in keeping with the spirit of the times.
Today, the tableware comprises a complete range of crockery, stemware and cutlery, rounded off by matching accessories, kitchens, table textiles and selected gifts. So whether you wish to dine in perfect style with a coordinated range or put together your own individual ‘mix & match' solution, Villeroy & Boch has all the products to meet your needs.

Villeroy & Boch's worldwide activities are controlled from their company headquarters in Mettlach / Saar - a location in Germany in which the three countries of Germany, France and Luxembourg meet.
Product Innovations
In recent years, Villeroy & Boch have been able to present numerous technical innovations in the industry, which have led to a higher degree of optimisation in the utility value of their products. Some examples of this innovation are the easy-care ceramic finish, "CeramicPlus" and the anti-bacterial glaze, "ActiveCare".
Villeroy & Boch were one of the first companies in the design field to systematically introduce the pattern and colour concept "Mix & Match" into all tableware lifestyles.
Furthermore, they received the "2004 German Business Innovation Award" both for their exciting tableware design "NewWave Caffè" (Pictured) and the production technique which was developed specifically to handle its asymmetrical shape.
State-of-the-art production processes and stringent quality controls enable Villeroy & Boch to meet the highest standards with regard to materials, workmanship and durability for every product that leaves our production plants.
