Maleras Glass

Swedish glass artist Mats Jonasson is well-known for his etched lead crystal sculptures of flowers and wildlife. His intricate glass creations were all handcrafted in Målerås, Sweden, with the original glass house dating back to the 1890s. 

 

The Maleras glass house draws inspiration from long-standing Swedish artistic traditions and traditional glassmaking techniques, which when combined with contemporary designs, creates exquisite glass ornaments and household accessories, including large glass bowlstealight holders and seasonal decorations are also available

 

Today, each Maleras glass piece has been produced, painted, sanded, and etched with a vibrant and distinctive appearance following direction from Mats Jonasson, and are available in many striking designs. You can clean and polish Maleras glass ornaments using a lint-free, soft cloth or gently wipe them down with lukewarm water. Your Maleras glass sculpture shouldn't be cleaned with harsh chemicals or be allowed to soak in water.
