Maleras Glass

Swedish glass artist Mats Jonasson is well-known for his etched lead crystal sculptures of flowers and wildlife. His intricate glass creations were all handcrafted in Målerås, Sweden, with the original glass house dating back to the 1890s.

The Maleras glass house draws inspiration from long-standing Swedish artistic traditions and traditional glassmaking techniques, which when combined with contemporary designs, creates exquisite glass ornaments and household accessories, including large glass bowls, tealight holders and seasonal decorations are also available

Today, each Maleras glass piece has been produced, painted, sanded, and etched with a vibrant and distinctive appearance following direction from Mats Jonasson, and are available in many striking designs. Our best sellers include the Maleras Global Icons Heart, Floral Fantasy Orchid, Maleras Wildlife Wolf and the Wildlife Marsh Tits.
