Mackenzie-Childs FAQs
Most enamelware pieces in the MacKenzie-Childs range are dishwasher safe, however, those with wood, rattan or knobs are not dishwasher safe. We advise hand-washing with warm, soapy water and hand drying will extend the life and look of the finish.
MacKenzie-Childs collections consist of the classic colour-dragged technique across the Courtly Check, Sterling Check , Royal Check and Parchment Check ranges, whilst floral pops of colour ooze across the botanical Flower Market collection.
Yes, each piece from MacKenzie-Childs is handmade. Their ceramic pottery, furniture and home furnishings are uniquely created by talented artisans in their production studios across the world. Traditional techniques are used to create perfect ceramics in Aurora, whilst the infamous colour-dragged hand-painting is used on enamelware produced in Taiwan.

Our Mackenzie -Childs Collection
Courtly Check: Make every day extraordinary with Mackenzie Childs Courtly Check Enamelware. If you’re thinking “classic” as in “black dress and pearls” or “white tie and tails,” think again! They've added sass to the traditional colour combination in their signature colour-dragged, hand-painted pattern. Dressed up and styled out, it’s black and white their way. Very classy—with a kick!
Rosy Check: Mackenzie Childs new Rosy Check collection features colour-dragged checks in a range of rosy pink hues.
Flower Market: Glorious colour, fresh from a country garden. Choose your favourite colour or—as in nature—happily mix and match green, black, and white to create your own bouquet. Each vibrant design is colour-glazed and hand decorated with artfully arranged floral transfers. Mackenzie Childs’ Flower Market Enamelware brings the garden inside for a fun, fresh look.
Sterling Check: The striking Sterling Check range is one of Mackenzie Childs’ most iconic ceramics ranges. The hand-painted, colour-dragged checks in subtle shades of grey defines each piece and makes every occasion a special one.
Parchment Check: Cheerful and sunny, yet deliberately soft and simple. Parchment Check is elegant, with added functionality and practicality for everyday use. Each piece features a hand-painted blend of parchment, taupe, gold, and an irrepressible touch of aqua, woven by an artisan’s brush through the glossy, hand-painted checks.
Wildflowers : Fun, fresh and floral! Add a touch of blooming beauty to your collection.
Royal Check: Royal Check is a hand-painted bounty of blues that draws upon shades seen in nature, from the skies overhead to the ever-changing waters of nearby Cayuga Lake. Each piece reflects the artisan's hand, so no two are exactly alike, but they all work together in perfect harmony.
