The Bilame twin blade corkscrew, an historical part of L’Atelier du Vin’s range since 1949 (patent date), extracts and leaves the cork intact, even those which are old and fragile.

A genuine leather case, handmade in Italy, protects its mechanism like the tool of a great artisan. The fine blades of the corkscrew slip between the side of the cork and glass neck to open or re-cork a bottle, all with a simple turn of the hand and no forcing. Patented by L’Atelier du Vin in 1949, this opening system lets you extract the cork without piercing its surface – before putting it back into place as if nothing had happened at all.
