Le Creuset Signature Cast Iron Roaster 33cm Volcanic

The even heat distribution of this versatile enamelled Cast Iron Roaster makes it ideal for roasting meat and potatoes or cooking homemade lasagne and crumbles. When roasting meat, the dish can be placed on the hob for deglazing a gravy or sauce. Inspired by Le Creuset iconic Cast Iron Casseroles, the Signature Roasters feature the larger Le Creuset Signature handles for easier lifting and carrying even when wearing oven gloves. Sturdy and resistant, it will withstand the high searing temperatures of the oven and stand the test of time. Stylish and colourful, it makes a perfect serving dish too as cast iron keeps food warmer for longer at the table.

Suitable for use on all hob types, including induction, in the oven to 260°C and under the grill, requiring only low to medium heat settings to cook with. Individually cast in sand moulds and hand crafted at the original French foundry since 1925

Care and Use: Read the appropriate instructions that will come with your item. Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the pan in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Cooking on a medium or low heat gets the best results — even for frying and searing. Let the product heat up gradually for great tasting food that’s cooked evenly. If you do need to use a higher heat, lower the setting once the desired heat has been reached. Le Creuset Silicone tools or wooden/heat resistant plastic tools are recommended. For best results, use appropriately sized ring for even cooking and to reduce risk of damage to product. The sand enamel surface is not ideal for dry cooking. Recommended oils to use are vegetable, rapeseed and sunflower oil. Never drag your product across a glass surface. Always lift to move to prevent damage. Oven and grill safe up to 260°C. Allow a minimum distance of 6.5cm when grilling. Always use oven gloves when handling hot products. Allow product to cool before cleaning. If washed too quickly thermal shock may occur, resulting in cracking or loss of enamel. Casserole lid: Lids with stainless steel and phenolic knobs are dishwasher-safe. Lids with gold finish, iridescent, copper finish and black nickel knobs should be hand-washed to maintain their finish. Handwash recommended. Freezer compatible and dishwasher safe.
