Grasmere is Cumbria Crystal's most popular traditional pattern. It was designed by Lady Grania Cavendish, one of the original founders of the company in 1976, in classic Georgian style. You may recognise the collection used on set of the worldwide hit drama Downton Abbey. Its time consuming and complex design is achieved by using flute, mitre, diamond and thumbprint cuts and the design requires our whole team of cutters to produce it.
The Grasmere collection has also been used on the set of Downton Abbey, a popular British drama taking place in the post-Edwardian era.
