Grasmere is Cumbria Crystal's most popular traditional pattern. It was designed by Lady Grania Cavendish, one of the original founders of the company in 1976, in the classic Georgian style. You may recognise the collection used on set of the worldwide hit drama Downton Abbey. Its time-consuming and complex design is achieved by using flute, mitre, diamond and thumbprint cuts and the design requires Cumbria Crystal's whole team of cutters to produce it.
